At 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17,2014 my husband and I sat down to eat. Approx. five other tables in the whole restaurant were occupied. A waitress came over in a timely manner to ask our drink orders. After the drinks arrived we said give us minute to look at the menu. Fifteen minutes later we were still waiting for our waitress. We saw and heard her near us so we looked in her direction and motioned to her. She acknowledged us and said she would be right over. Instead, she kept right on talking to a young man eating alone. The conversation was about the color of ocean water, his children, her boyfriend, how late the restaurant had to stay open even if no one was there, or they were bored, etc. We motioned for her again and still she kept up her conversation. We finally gave up, went in search of the manager --which now she had time for us. So the General Manager finally came out and asked what was the problem. I said I didn't want anyone fired but really, is that any way for a waitress to treat a customer ? He merely said " really ? oh.." He did not say sorry, did not offer to get us another waitress, did not offer as much as a free soda. He just stood there so we said we would never be back there and we left. We certainly will not recommend this particular establishment to anyone ! We will probably let all our friends know what to expect if they do go there. Too bad because the food is pretty good.
